London, UK- July 2, 2018- Daniel Stachowiak, Managing Director of MyDocSafe, a leading provider of trusted e-signature, secure onboarding and compliance solutions including for the professional and financial service firm market, was pleased to participate in the recent Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) Cyber Security Expert Mission to Israel.
Israel Cyber Week brought together 8,000 cybersecurity stakeholders from government, academia and business with luminaries from the global information security community. Our summation of the conference involves two themes. On one side of the security equation businesses continue to face a growing challenge in terms of protecting data. On the vendor side are those who are seeking to create powerful solutions that mitigate those risks. For vendors such as MyDocSafe security and innovation are key themes.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu put this eloquently when he outlined the risks posed to individuals, businesses and society by hackers and state backed actors. Touching on innovation he explained “the only way we can address this enormous challenge… is to keep running ahead, to be ahead.” During his address, Director-General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate Yigal Unna described the growing trend of multidimensional cyberattacks and the use of the most advanced technologies to compromise business and information Security veteran Bruce Schneier warned delegates that confidentiality attacks, such as leaks of personal information, are being replaced by more dangerous integrity and availability attacks.
Daniel Stachowiak also attended the 4th Rethink Cyber Tel Aviv which is an event where prominent industry leaders, CIOs, CISOs, cyber experts, researchers and academics meet to explore trends and technologies in the rapidly evolving cyber arena. The event was a chance to push boundaries and explore trends and innovation in the security space. Daniel Stachowiak participated in an Oxford style debate about the security implications of Blockchain.
Daniel Stachowiak, Managing Director of MyDocSafe.com commented “MyDocSafe helps clients to securely manage data and this event has been key to validating our security model and investments through exposure to the latest thinking from the military, academia, and business. We were also able to validate our product strategy and from a security perspective it’s clear that the market is crowded with a lot of ‘me-too’ products solving very narrow problems. CISOs are overwhelmed by these offerings and are looking for end-to-end (“best of suite”) providers such as MyDocSafe instead of point solutions (“best of product”). The week was hugely productive and enjoyable, and I would like to thank Innovate UK for the thoughtful invitation”.
