Our Prices Are About to Increase by 10%

We want to inform you that starting from August, our prices will increase by 10%. This decision has not been made lightly, and we want to provide you with some context and reasons behind it.

Firstly, this is our first price increase in over two years. During this period, we have worked hard to absorb the rising costs of materials, labor, and other expenses. However, to continue providing the quality and innovation you expect from us, this adjustment has become necessary.

It’s important to note that the 10% increase is still below the cummulative rate of inflation over the period. We have carefully calculated this amount to ensure it remains fair and manageable for our customers while allowing us to sustain our operations and growth.

The additional revenue from this price adjustment will be reinvested into our business to drive further innovation and improvements. Our goal is to enhance our products and services, ensuring they meet your evolving needs and expectations.

How will this affect you:

  • From August we will start charging new transaction fees, which are charged monthly in arrears.  This means that the August invoice for transaction charges from July will not be affected.
    • QES fees go from $2 -> $2.50
  • From September we will start charging new subscription fees, which are charged monthly upfront.
  • Subscribers who are on annual plans will be affected when their licences come up for renewal, or if they purchase new licences, AFTER September.

What’s this thing about 2022 and 2024 plans?

  • 2022 plans are our legacy plans.  They are ‘flexible’  – if you hit limits of the plan you can add more credits or licences without having to upgrade to a more expensive plan
  • 2024 plans are currently available plans.  They are not ‘flexible’ – you hit limits and have to upgrade to a more expensive plan if you want to continue using the system.  Auto-upgrade option is available to automate the process.
  • All new trial users are offered 2024 plans only
  • 2022 plan holders can move to 2024 plans once (but there is no going back).
